Kruger National Park Safaris & Adventures

Game Safari in Kruger National Park

The Kruger National Park is a must-visit when visiting South Africa. A game drive in an open drive vehicle allows guests to enjoy an indescribable experience in the bushveld. Sit back and relax as your guide shares his knowledge of this unique landscape with its abundant wildlife. While searching for the Big Five and beyond, your guides make sufficient stops along the way for enjoying alfresco meals and to freshen up. Our guides work closely together as a team, thus ensuring exciting sightings.

Panoramic Mountain Tour

The Panorama Mountain Tour abounds breathtaking views of natural wonders, offering a world of both beauty and that of adventure. This scenic tour consists of mind blowing views such as “God’s Window” and Bourke’s Luck Potholes (surreal rock sculptures formed as a result water erosion). Our stops include The Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels and cascading waterfalls. Lunch can be enjoyed at the well-known Harries Pancake Bar. Taking us back in time, we wander through a living museum in the quaint little town of Pilgrims Rest.

Kruger National Park Night Safari

A night safari in the Kruger National Park is an unforgettable experience. The spotlight on the open safari vehicle allows guests to see shy, nocturnal animals, seldom seen during the day. You may encounter porcupines, genets or the elusive pangolin. Enjoy a candle-lit barbeque buffet for dinner, accompanied by the night sounds of the African bush, illuminated by thousands of stars. An armed ranger provides protection from any carnivores that may wish to join the feast. After dinner, game spotting continues on the way back to the gate.

Endangered Wildlife Tour

Moholoholo is a wildlife center that contributes to the conservation of endangered species and undertakes the rehabilitation of injured, orphaned and poisoned wild animals and birds. Creatures which cannot be released back into the wild  make their permanent home at Moholoholo.  Consequently they provide the opportunity for guests to have an interactive wildlife experience. From Moholoholo we visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre at Kapama Game Reserve. This centre runs successful breeding programmes for several endangered and vulnerable species. Following an introductory presentation, guests are taken in an open vehicle for a tour to view (and learn more about) cheetah, wild dogs, black-footed cats, African wild cats, ground hornbills, sable antelope and others.

Hot Air Ballooning

Enjoy a scenic hot air balloon flight over the beautiful Sabie River valley and the Northern Drakensberg escarpment.  Balloon flights take place at sunrise while the air is still cool and stable, before the earth heats up. During the flight passengers can relax and enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The distant views to the west are of the mountains – God’s Window is clearly visible from the “other” side. The views to the east are of the land gradually flattening out towards the horizon, with the Sabie River winding its way towards the sunrise. The vegetation is a mix of riverine forest, indigenous bush and fruit orchards. We may even spot game such as zebras and wildebeest. The Kruger National Park and surrounds is a beautiful ballooning venue!
