Day 1

After an early-morning airport pickup, we head straight to Cape Point for a tour of the Cape Peninsula. We will stop in quaint villages and visit the penguins at Boulders Beach. After a scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak, we will head into Hout Bay for a late lunch of fresh fish and chips. We then make our way further along the Atlantic Seaboard to Camps Bay. We will spend the evening at the famous V&A Waterfront. (L)

Day 2

Today we will spend the entire day visiting wine farms throughout the world renowned Stellenbosch region. We will visit iconic estates but also the hidden gems only known to locals. Lunch is included at one of the estates as well as a cellar tour and vineyard tour. This is a truly unique experience and a must for anyone visiting South Africa! (B|L)

Day 3

This morning we will head out on an amazing walking food tour of Cape Town city centre. Learn more about South African history, the people and culture through its food! The Bo-Kaap is just beautiful and the heart of the Cape-Malay community. Sample fresh samoosas, traditional breads and cheeses. Gain more insight into traditional South African ”soul food”. There most definitely will be desert, South Africans have a serious sweet tooth! With our bellies sufficiently full, we head up Table Mountain to watch the sunset over the Mother City. This evening can be spent at your leisure, but I doubt we will be hungry enough to need dinner! Meals: (B|L)

Day 4 (Spring Trip)

After a leisurely breakfast, we pack up and head up the scenic West coast. It is flower season so brace yourself for an awe-inspiring display of colours against the backdrop of the blue Atlantic Ocean. We will stop often to take photo’s and go on a short hike within the West Coast National Park where we are bound to come across various species of antelope. After a lovely picnic lunch on the beach, we continue to our beach villa and relax for the rest of the afternoon. This evening we will visit one of the iconic restaurants of this coastline – The Strandloper. This family-run establishment has been in business for MANY years and serves fresh, locally caught seafood – 10 courses to be exact! We will eat slowly and merrily and savour every mouthful. (B|L|D)

Day 4 (Autumn trip)

We depart Cape Town early this morning and drive to Gansbaai to experience the ultimate thrill; cage-diving with great white sharks! Seeing these incredible creatures up close will leave you in awe. The remainder of the day will be spent in the beautiful town of Hermanus where we will enjoy our last dinner together (B|L|D).

Day 5

Yes, unfortunately, all good things come to an end. After a quick breakfast, we will hop back into our trusted Kombi and drive back to Cape Town. You will either be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel within the city centre. Safe travels! (B)
