Back to nature getaway
Is Africa calling your wild, wanderlust heart? Have you always dreamed of experiencing an authentic African Safari? Here is the opportunity you have been waiting for… Join us for 5 nights in the heart of the world renowned lowveld of South Africa to experience something you’ll never forget. We will be staying at two remote and tranquil bush camps, offering an exclusive safari experience. This area is a photographer’s dream. You will have excellent opportunities to capture priceless wildlife memories. We don’t focus only on the Big Five… treasure the big and the small; the vastness and the tiny details. Spend some time watching giraffes browse among thorn-studded acacia trees, enjoy the chatter of a hippo pod at the waterhole or watch as a little chameleon eyes out its prey. Wake up to singing birds and fall asleep to roaring lions…this is true bushveld bliss.
This trip is about getting back in touch with, and appreciating nature. I believe that spending time outdoors reduces stress, declutters your mind which ultimately rejuvenates your soul. Use this opportunity in the wild to detox from technology and surrender your soul to nature. We will have exclusive use of both the camps including a private chef, game ranger and driver. Everything you need to experience a wild and intimate Women’s Safari is one email away. All you need to do is show up, I’ll take care of the rest.

This morning I will personally pick you up from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. We will make our way to our safari camp in the Manyeleti Game Reserve on the border of the Kruger National Park. The fences between the reserves have been dropped so game can roam freely between the reserves. This safari camp has an authentic rustic charm but is oh so luxurious. We will be staying in very comfortable, typical safari-style tents with en suite bathrooms. After a late lunch we will embark the 4×4 open safari vehicle for our first game drive. Brace yourself for fantastic sightings of the Big Five as well as numerous bird species and other wildlife. This evening our dinner will typically be cooked over an open fire. (Meals: L|D)
Day 2 and 3
For the next 2 days, you will enjoy thrilling dawn and dusk safaris, warm hospitality and Proudly South African cuisine. The pace of life at the camp will be entirely up to you. In-between safaris there will be plenty of time for yourself as well – read that novel you’ve been putting or have a power-nap. Fully embrace the serenity and tranquility of this remote hideaway in the bushveld. (Meals: B|L|D)

This morning we head out for our last game drive in the Manyeleti. After breakfast we bid farewell to our gracious hosts and make our way to a secluded Bush Camp in the heart of the prestigious Timbavati Game Reserve. This idyllic eco-friendly camp has no electricity. Gas and solar power are used for all cooking and heating. At night a combination of oil lamps, solar lights and candles make for an authentic wilderness experience. The camp consists of 8 wooden bungalows and a main lodge area with indoor and outdoor lounges, a plunge pool and bar. Delicious meals will be lovingly prepared by the private chef. Upon arrival, we will settle in before going on a sunset game drive. This evening, we will return to a blazing campfire and enjoy our dinner under the stars. (Meals: B|L|D)
Today will be an action packed safari day. The Timbavati is one of Africa’s most prestigious reserves and offers the opportunity for incredible sightings of leopard, elephants and rare white lions. We will embark on an early morning bush safari with our ranger and tracker in search of these and other game species. After approximately 2 hours we will head back to camp for a well-deserved breakfast. The rest of the day can be spent at your leisure – laze by the pool or use of the photographic guide books to ID all the birds and animals you’ve spotted up until now. This afternoon we will head out for our last sunset drive and enjoy sundowners somewhere in the wilderness. Upon our return to camp, enjoy your last bushveld dinner by the campfire. (Meals: B|L|D)
After our last dawn safari and wild breakfast, we bid farewell to the beautiful bushveld and our hosts at the private bush camp. We then take a drive along the Panorama Route and go for a cruise on the Blyde River to view the third biggest canyon in the world from a different perspective. We will then travel back to Johannesburg where you will be dropped off at OR Tambo International Airport in the early evening. (Meals: B)
